A little privacy. A lot of chemistry.
Updated October 20, 2026Shopping sessions
We use a secure, HttpOnly shopping-session cookie to connect your LivingSocial searches and cart. Selected offers, options and quantities are sent to LivingSocial to provide that service. Groupon handles payment on its own website; we do not collect your payment-card details. To check purchases, we store encrypted shopping-session credentials until they expire, and order-status records including a checkout reference, selected experience, quantity, currency, amount and confirmation time. These records are accessible to the site owner through a protected dashboard. Expired credentials are cleared during tracking maintenance. We do not collect customer names or emails for this tracking.
Your device and invitations
Your browser remembers previously shown deal IDs so you can discover different ideas. Invitation links contain the names and note you enter, plus the selected deal. Anyone with an invitation link can read it. They do not contain your private shopping-session or cart token.
Optional Google Analytics
Analytics runs only after you choose “Allow analytics.” Google Analytics helps us understand page visits, date searches, deal views, invitation opens and checkout clicks. It may process browser/device information and use analytics cookies. We do not send invitation names, notes, private cart links or session tokens to Analytics. A checkout click does not mean a purchase was completed. With analytics consent, a purchase event is sent only after Groupon confirms payment; its checkout reference prevents duplicate reporting. Analytics delivery is best-effort, and the private dashboard is the operational record. Advertising personalization and Google Signals are disabled.
You can change your choice using “Cookie settings” on the home page. Declining leaves shopping available. Google Privacy Policy · Google Analytics opt-out
